Platform receives funding from the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) Specialist Homelessness Services. We comply with the Specialist Homelessness Service Standards and Practice Guidelines.
We also receive funding from DCJ to provide Bail Beds for young people on bail who do not have a safe or suitable place to stay. We deliver this program under the Bail and Accommodation Support Service.
In addition to compliance with the Specialist Homelessness Service Standards, Platform is a Tier 3 registered community housing provider under the National Regulatory System for Community Housing.
Platform Youth Services Ltd is committed to preventing modern slavery and promoting ethical and responsible business practices. We expect our staff, volunteers, contractors and suppliers to uphold these standards in all activities connected with our organisation.
Although Platform Youth Services Ltd does not meet the reporting threshold under the Modern Slavery Act 2018, we take reasonable steps to identify and manage potential risks within our operations and supply chains. This includes requiring ethical labour practice commitments from suppliers and conducting internal due diligence where appropriate.
