Platform delivers the Homeless Youth Assistance Program (HYAP), providing 24/7 Residential accommodation and support for unaccompanied children and young people aged 12 to 15 years who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, whose parental responsibilities do not sit with the minister.
HYAP aims to reconnect young people with their families or where this is not possible to facilitate transitions to more appropriate long-term supported accommodation as well as support young people in obtaining and or maintaining education training or employment.
