Platform’s Rapid Rehousing program aims to support young people aged 16- 24 years, by responding quickly to fast rack young people into affordable long terms suitable accommodation options.

Rapid re-housing refers to short-term assistance to minimise the time that a person spends being homeless, where appropriate accommodation can be readily sourced, and the client’s needs are such that rapid re-housing is feasible.

This approach generally works for people who have previously lived independently in permanent and/or secure housing and is usually combined with low-level support and some follow-up.
